How to Record Your Screen with Audio on Windows
Capturing both system sound and your microphone with the built-in Game Bar.
Besides recording the screen, the Game Bar can capture system audio and microphone audio at the same time.
Windows + G→ audio icon in the Game Bar.- Turn on "Microphone" if you want to narrate while recording, and confirm system audio is turned on (it usually is by default).
Windows + Alt + Rto start/stop recording, as always.
Tip: before an important recording, do a short test and check the result — confirm both your voice and the system sound come through at the volume you expected before recording something long.
Note: if your microphone doesn't show up in the list, first confirm Windows detects it normally in Settings → Sound → Input, outside the Game Bar.
